Training for listening and pronunnciation skills using VOA news video

Specially selected from pieces on “Voice of America News” on the English Central Channel, this course consists of video segments, one to three minutes long, that feature topics of interest to college students. There are a variety of practice sections such as Dialogue, Vocabulary, Listening, True or False, Comprehension, Sentence Completion, Summary and Pronunciation. Using this course in conjunction with the online version will strengthen speaking skills. This course is designed not only for regular classrooms, but also for CALL classrooms.
